From 4 to 10 May 2023, Interpack, the trade fair dedicated to the packaging sector, will be back on stage. After a break of a good six years and a pandemic-related stop, the halls of the trade fair in Düsseldorf will once again come alive with all the innovations and key players in the sector.
Indeed, this is the world’s largest trade fair dedicated not only to packaging, but also to the associated processing industry. Interpack, not without reason, is regarded as an essential business platform and a workshop in which to forge the future and create successful partnerships.
The figures for Interpack 2023
Users, machinery manufacturers and material producers: Interpack 2023 will welcome as many as 2,700 exhibitors from all over the world to its 18 halls. The focus of the event will be on new technologies, future challenges and innovations in an ever-changing sector. The key themes, as anticipated by the organisers, will be the circular economy, digitalisation and safety, with related events, round tables and forums.
2023 represents a year of great change for Interpack. For the first time, operators from the food, pharmaceuticals, beverages, cosmetics, industrial goods and non-food sectors will find their products of interest in a single exhibition area.
This is thanks to the new location of the halls introduced for the very first time and the presence of theme points where products and materials for packaging, innovations for marking and labelling, as well as technologies for integrated printing and production of packaging materials will be on display. And that’s not all: exhibitors from subcontracting components, which are part of the collateral fair, will have their own pavilion. The new hall layout will allow visitors to fully experience Interpack 2023, making the visit even more worthwhile and beneficial.

Themes and innovations at the packaging trade fair
The aim of Interpack 2023 will be to showcase developments in the sector, focusing on certain mega-trends such as sustainability in packaging, connectivity and security. Today, the shortage of raw materials represents one of the biggest challenges for the sector, linked to a constant growth in demand, but also to new technologies oriented towards sustainability.
From this point of view, Interpack represents the place where the future is built and shaped. A great source of inspiration for visionary ideas, new practices and trends, including meetings and side events. The appointment is from 4 to 10 May 2023 to take part in the most important event in the packaging industry and discuss circular economy, digital technologies, product safety and resource management.
