33-BI-MU, one of the most important international trade fairs dedicated to machine tools, sheetmetal machines, additive manufacturing, as well as robots, digital manufacturing and automation, without forgetting enabling technologies and subcontracting, is finally back. A fundamental meeting where knowledge, innovation and the future mingle, promoted by UCIMU-SISTEMI PER PRODURRE, the Italian machine tools, robots and automation manufacturers’ association, and organised by EFIM-ENTE FIERE ITALIANE MACCHINE.
The dates
BI-MU will be staged from 12 to 15 October 2022, following in the wake of the success of EMO Milan, the world trade fair for the sector. The appointment is at fieramilano Rho with many proposals for different production needs, machines, systems and exhibition areas focused on different technological themes. All in line with this edition’s slogan: “The perfection of Metalworking“.
The objectives
The tradefair aims to be a reference point for operators in the sector who strive for excellence and are looking for new solutions. In fact, 33-BI-MU offers insights, meetings and proposals for all stages of the production process, from analysis and design to production and quality control, logistics and distribution.
The exhibition areas
There are five exhibition areas, for as many technological themes, that will welcome visitors in the sign of innovation and the desire to respond to all production needs.
RobotHeart
One of the most innovative exhibition areas is RobotHeart, dedicated to industrial robotics and automation. In this area of the event, sponsored by the Italian association of robotics and automation (SIRI), visitors will be able to discover the advantages of using artificial intelligence in various sectors, from food & beverage to logistics, passing through packaging, pharmaceutical, biomedical and cosmetics. The robotics sector has proved to be strategic in recent years and 33-BI-MU will be the perfect opportunity to bring together universities, manufacturers and start-ups under the banner of innovation and the many developments in this sector.
BI-MU Digital
BI-MU Digital is the exhibition area of 33-BI-MU dedicated to digital technologies. In the exhibition space, the main players in the sector will come into contact with useful technologies for connectivity, data management software and security. And that’s not all: thanks to talks by key players and key players, it will be possible to gain a broad view of the future with regard to digital twin, artificial intelligence and assistance systems.
MoreAdditive
Additive manufacturing has now become a key aspect of metalworking. This is why 33-BI-MU has decided to dedicate an exhibition space to the main players in the sector and the technologies that can be used to complete and complement the companies’ offerings. Demonstration areas and meetings will be at the heart of the area initiated by AITA-ASSOCIAZIONE ITALIANA TECNOLOGIE ADDITIVE.
Metrology & Testing
Among the topics addressed during 33-BI-MU will be the challenges of quality and competitiveness. Certification services, quality control, testing machines and measuring instruments remain fundamental allies that have undergone great development in recent years, which will be recounted during the event.
BI-MU Logistics
Finally, an area totally dedicated to logistics could not be missing. This key aspect, linked to all industrial sectors, will be at the heart of BI-MU Logistics, an area dedicated to solutions supporting the storage and procurement of materials, as well as stock management and product cataloguing.
